Frequently asked questions

Participation is open to persons who have registered via our ticket shop at www.biogas-convention.com. After your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your personalised access code.

Shortly before the event, you will receive all the information you need to access the event platform. (Sender address: event@streavent.de) If you have not received a confirmation / e-mail, please check your spam folder.

As a participant you need a stable internet access and an up-to-date browser. The event platform can be accessed directly from your PC via the following common desktop browsers: Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Edge. No download to your computer is required.

We recommend that you participate via PC, notebook or tablet. The lectures cannot be viewed optimally on a mobile phone. You can ask questions to the speakers in writing during the lectures. Contact with other participants is possible via written chat.

To participate in the lectures via livestream, you need neither a microphone nor a webcam, only a screen and - if you want to ask questions - a keyboard. You can conveniently ask your questions to the speakers via the question tool next to the livestream. The speaker will answer your questions live. You are not visible to anyone in this room as a participant. As the lectures are streamed, the usual video conferencing options such as raising hands, screen sharing, activating video/audio etc. are not available to you here.

After each block of lectures we offer a "round table" with the speakers in a meeting room. To join, please select the menu item "Round Table" in the navigation bar on the left, find the corresponding lecture block and click on it.

You will now be asked whether you would like to join with a microphone or just listen. You will then be asked to share your microphone and camera. In the right-hand button you will see all the participants who have switched on their camera and can talk to them as in a video conference. The middle area offers a chat. On the far left you can see which participants are in the room.

Yes, the platform will be put online at least 1 week before the event, then you can try everything out, familiarise yourself with the platform, edit your participant profile, etc.

You can view all booked presentations (German and/or English), ask questions to the speakers, network with other participants, view presentation documents and recordings of the presentations. The platform will be available until the end of December.

All visitors can add a photo to their profile and post information about themselves or their company to introduce themselves to the other participants.

This year's General Meeting will be held digitally on 29 November 2022 from 16.00.

The event platform can be accessed directly from your PC via the following popular desktop browsers: Firefox 20 and above, Safari 6.0 and above, Chrome 19 and above, Edge 40 and above. If you have several browsers at your disposal, switching here could solve your problem. In exceptional cases, severe restrictions due to a company network or VPN can be circumvented by turning off the VPN.

Check the settings on your computer. Have you turned it up loud? Are the headphones or speakers enabled?

When you log in to the platform for the first time, you will be asked to enter your profile details. If you want to change these details during the process, you can do so in the bar at the top right.

The recordings and documents will be made available promptly to registered participants on the event platform in the menu under "Media library".

Members: 300 EUR, non-members: 435 EUR, early bird discount 20% until 14.10.2022. Authority representatives or students: 60 EUR. Ticket prices can be found here or can be viewed directly in the ticket shop.
